Home is a short documentary about what it means to find home after losing it to genocide. The film follows Meri, who is from Artsakh, Armenia, and focuses on her life after everything she has been through. Rather than telling a linear story, the film sits with her everyday moments and the emotions that come with them such as grief, displacement, and the quiet process of rebuilding a sense of home.
This is an unscripted project, and the film has taken shape naturally over time. Many creative decisions were made in response to real moments as they happened, rather than following a fixed plan.
Home is currently a work in progress and will be completed within the next three months
